Prime Contractor

For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 100 days from the last day labor or materials were provided on a project, and enforcement of the lien must take place within 6 months from the liens’  filing date.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 100 days from the last day labor or materials were provided on a project, and enforcement of the lien must take place within 6 months from the liens’ filing date.

Supplier/Other

For Suppliers and Others, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 100 days from the last day labor or materials were provided on a project, and enforcement of the lien must take place within 6 months from the liens’ filing date.
