For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 1 year after the last day labor or materials were provided on a construction project. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 1 year of the last day materials or labor were provided on the project.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a lien must be filed within 90 days after the last day labor or materials were provided on the project, and is enforceable within 90 days after the last day labor or materials were provided on the project.

Supplier/Other

For Suppliers and Others, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 90 days after the last day labor or materials were provided on the project, and is enforceable 90 days after the last day labor or materials were provided on the project.
