Prime Contractor

For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 6 months after the last day labor or materials were provided on a construction project, and must be enforced within 2 years after the liens’  filing date.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 6 months after the last day labor or materials were provided on a construction project, and must be enforced within 2 years after the liens’ filing date.

Supplier/Other

For Suppliers and Others, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 6 months after the last day labor or materials were provided on a construction project, and must be enforced within 2 years after the liens’ filing date.
