For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 120 days from the last day labor or materials were provided for a construction project, or when the project is complete. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 2 years of the liens’ filing date.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 120 days from the last day labor or materials were provided for a construction project, or when the project is complete. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 2 years of the liens’ filing date.
