Prime Contractor

For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 90 days of last day labor or materials were provided on a construction project. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 2 years of the liens’  filing date.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 90 days of last day labor or materials were provided on a construction project. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 2 years of the liens’ filing date.

Supplier/Other

For Suppliers and Others, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 90 days of last day labor or materials were provided on a construction project. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 2 years of the liens’ filing date.
