For Prime Contractors, a Notice must be attached to the contract, or separately provided to the owner of the property within 10 days after the contract is agreed upon.

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Preliminary Notice is required to be served to the owner of the property within 45 days of first day labor or materials were provided on a construction project.
