Prime Contractor

Prime Contractors are required to provide a list of all subcontractors and suppliers to the owner of the property upon their request.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Notice of furnishing to the owner of the property and the Prime Contractor must be filed within 20 days after first day labor or materials were provided on a construction project. For Laborers however, they have 30 days after wages become delinquent to serve a notice upon the owner of the property and Prime Contractor.

Supplier/Other

For Suppliers and Others, a Notice of furnishing to the owner of the property and Prime Contractor must be filed within 20 days after the first day labor or materials were provided for a construction project.
