For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 6 months of the last day materials or labor were provided on a construction project. Enforcement of the lien is required within 1 year of the liens’ filing date.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 6 months of the last day materials or labor were provided on a construction project. Enforcement of the lien is required within 1 year of the liens’ filing date.

Supplier/Other
