Prime Contractor

For Prime Contractors, a Notice of Intent is required to be provided to the owner of the property 10 days before filing a lien. Also, a copy of the lien to be filed must accompany the Notice of Intent.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Notice of Intent is required to be provided to the owner of the property 10 days before filing a lien. Also, a copy of the lien to be filed must accompany the Notice of Intent.

Supplier/Other

For Suppliers and Others, a Notice of Intent is required to be provided to the owner of the property 10 days before filing a lien. Also, a copy of the lien to be filed must accompany the Notice of Intent.
