Prime Contractor

For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 60 days of filing a Notice of Completion, or within 120 days from the date the project was completed. Enforcement of the lien must be filed within 6 months of the date the lien was recorded.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 60 days of filing a Notice of Completion, or within 120 days from the date the project was completed. Enforcement of the lien must be filed within 6 months of the date the lien was recorded.
