Prime Contractor

For Prime Contractors, a Notice of Commencement is required to be provided to the owner of the property within 15 days after the project is started.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, when contracting with anyone other than the property owner, a Notice of Furnishing Labor or Materials must be provided to both the owner of the property and the Prime Contractor.

Supplier/Other

For Suppliers and Others, when contracting with anyone other than the property owner, a Notice of Furnishing Labor or Materials must be provided to both the owner of the property and the Prime Contractor.
