Prime Contractor

For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 75 days after the last day labor or materials were provided on a construction project, or when the project is completed. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 120 days of the liens’  filing date.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 75 days after the last day labor or materials were provided on a construction project, or when the project is completed. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 120 days of the liens’ filing date.

Supplier/Other
