For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 90 days from the last day labor or materials were provided for a construction project. A Notice of Intent to Lien must be sent 20 days before enforcement of the lien. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 3 years after the date the lien was recorded.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 90 days from the last day labor or materials were provided for a construction project.
