Prime Contractor

For Prime Contractors, a Notice to Lien Agent is required to be provided to the owner of the property within 15 days from the first day labor or materials were provided for a construction project.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Notice to Lien Agent is required within 15 days from the first day labor and/ or materials were provided for a construction project. If the Prime Contractor has filed a Notice of Contract, then a Notice of Subcontract must be filed within the same time frame.

Supplier/Other

For Suppliers and Others, a Notice to Lien Agent is required within 15 days from the first day labor and/ or materials were provided for a construction project. If the Prime Contractor has filed a Notice of Contract, then a Notice of Subcontract must be filed within the same time frame.
