Prime Contractor

For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 4 months from last day labor or materials were provided on the project. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 1 year from the liens’  filing date.

Sub/Laborer

For Subcontractors and Laborers, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 4 months from last day labor or materials were provided on the project. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 1 year from the liens’ filing date.

Supplier/Other

For Suppliers and Others, a Mechanics Lien must be filed within 4 months from last day labor or materials were provided on the project. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 1 year from the liens’ filing date.
