Prime Contractor
For Prime Contractors, a Mechanics Lien is required to be filed within 45 days after last furnishing services or materials on the project. The courts will determine the liens’ validity within 3-10 days of filing, and if found to be correct, the lien is recorded. Enforcement of the lien must take place within 3 months of the liens’ filing.

Sub/Laborer
